Blog #5: The Coolest Technology
Disclaimer: The findings listed below have yet to be confirmed by NASA or any peer-reviewed agency. However, they have not dismissed the findings (to the authors knowledge.) The Coolest Technology: NASA's Electromagnetic Drive One of the most stunning discoveries in the 2010-2019 decade belonged to NASA during summer of last year. While testing a hyper-prototype rocket system called an Electromagnetic Drive, or EM Drive, NASA scientists discovered something they didn't before think was possible, due to Albert Einstein's Theory of Relativity , which states how "the laws of physics are the same for all non-accelerating observers, meaning that the speed of light in a vacuum (space) is the same no matter the speed at which an object travels." Essentially, they found that little beams of light that were launched into the device reappeared moving FASTER than the speed of light, which is a fixed constant of 670,616629.38 mph. The massive breakthrough...
